Under Proclamation No. 744, the last Monday of March is dedicated to Women with Disabilities Day. The Area Vocational Rehabilitation Center (AVRC) II conducted an orientation on the Republic Act 11313 or the Safe Spaces Act (Bawal Bastos Law) to both AVRC II trainees and center staff on March 25, 2024, at the AVRC II Multi-Purpose Hall.

Margie D. Pinton, Social Services Section Head of AVRC II, facilitated the orientation to spread awareness and ensure women's rights protection against gender-based harassment.
